“We LOVE riding our horses to GPL! They have hitching posts for us to tie up so we can go inside and enjoy a delicious meal! Our favorite by far is Sunday BRUNCH! I’ve had everything on the menu multiple times and can say that this place is excellent! Sit outside and enjoy the sound of the Gunpowder River flowing nearby. “I really enjoyed the restaurant. I was skeptical at first because I had never tried Jamaican food because I do not like spicy food. This restaurant has definitely changed my view point. The waitress Marlene was fabulous. I will give them 100 stars. 5 is not enough.“

“I took the wife to The Local Restaurant for our date night dinner. This was our first time here. Surprisingly, parking was somewhat limited for a surburban location. Fortunately, they offer valet parking service. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the hostess and immediately taken to our table. No sooner, our server came and gave us a run down of the night's specials as well as some of the menu items. The staff brought out the free corn bread. I loved it, thought it was the best ever. Wife thought it was too sweet. We ordered the French Dip Bao Buns for appetizer. It consisted of shredded steak in a pita covered with a horseradish sauce. It had good flavor. Didn't need the au jus. For the entree, I had the Steak Frites. The steak being a prime rib cut was tender and juicy with a nice sear on the outside. We both enjoyed the generous portion of tasty truffle parmesan frites that came with the steak. My wife had the Duck Confit with Crab Fried Rice. It came with 2 giant duck legs. The duck meat was tender but the miso glaze was a little too salty for our pallets. The crab fried rice lacked flavor. Crab meat tasted fresh and not fishy tasting. I think I enjoyed the meal more than the wife. We both agreed that the portion sizes were very generous. You definitely will not leave here hungry. We also agreed that the service here is excellent.“

“Great food although on the pricey side. Portions were a bit small but nice presentation. Wine pour by the glass could have been a bit more generous. One diner's glass was sticky so sent back and instead of pouring a new glass of wine the same wine was poured into a new glass. Did not sit well with the table of patrons (and the wine was the most expensive on the menu by the glass).“

“Bacco staff members were all pleasant and nice. The service was a little slow to get drinks we had to wait a really long time for wine. The food was good but not spectacular. The bolognese was creamy and yummy, but the shrimp scampi let me down. There was lack of flavor and herbs it just tasted like lemon juice and the shrimp had almost a soggy texture. Yummy wine and sangria tho. It was also $100 for just two people which is a bit high.“

“Though we're no longer living in the area, this place has been "an institution" in White Marsh, MD. They continue to do everything well, from breakfast, lunch and dinners. And save room for dessert because they're outstanding!“

“It took 30 minutes to have a server assigned, after that good service. Food , as usual, excellent. We sat in the bar for the first time, combination of live music and general noise level made conversation difficult. Renovation and decor are beautiful. One of our favorite places to dine in Abingdon.“

“The crab & corn soup was excellent plenty of crab & corn. The bacon wrapped scallops tender and bacon was crispy. Three were setting on a sautéd bed of spinach in light sauce with fresh diced tomatoes. Had the raspberries sorbet to finish which was creamy full of favor. A perfect ending to an enjoyable lunch. Our waitress was Emma who was fast & efficient and made our lunch a fun time.“

“OK, first off, let's be clear that I think Giovanna's has maybe one table indoors, and I believe they still have a deck. This is a fantastic pizza & Italian takeout restaurant. My favorite pizza in Baltimore by FAR, and that's saying a lot. (I worked in a NY pizza joint as a teen, I know my pizza.) The restaurant was owned by the same couple for many years & when they finally sold it (quite a number of years ago), they sold the recipes, too. You will not be disappointed. Staff is always pleasant! We tend to load up pizzas, so don't get swayed by what we spent, LOL. One time, we broke the record for number of toppings the chef that night had ever seen. He wasn't even quite sure how long to cook it! It was beyond delicious! All ingredients top shelf.Parking: Don't be fooled by the lack of parking on Harford Rd. There are a few dedicated spots behind the restaurant and plenty of side-street parking.“

“Great service and atmosphere. Visiting family in the area. Not a locals only type of place and our barkeeps, Luke and Andy did a great job making sure that we felt like part of the gang while we were there. Great selection of beers and whiskeys, too! Our food was really good - wish they had soda bread to go with their delicious stew and Mac & cheese. (I rounded up to a 5 on this one because the service was above and beyond).“

“Found this place while in Harford County attending training for work and got the #Clubhouse sandwich for lunch. Quite tasty, although a *tiny* bit dry (glad I also asked for mayo) and I would've liked the bacon a little more crisp. Otherwise, it was good, definitely worth going back for a revisit?? The fat kid in me also got a cupcake, because of course they're on display right at the register. It didn't make the pictures though, no need to ask why lol“

“Excellent lunch buffet! The food was tasty and perfectly spiced, The restaurant was clean with a pleasant atmosphere,and the staff was friendly and attentive. My favorite dishes were the goat curry and tandoori chicken. However the vegetarian dishes, appetizers and mint chutney were all excellent. The only item I thought needed improvement was the "Kheer" (rice pudding) which needed a little more sugar, some nuts and raisins to make it tastier.One final note: Even though the restaurant is named Bombay Nights, the chef and staff are Nepalese! “We haven't been here since it was sold. The place is beautiful! The food was excellent and our waitress, Holly was the bomb diggity!!! We had the CRAB COW BERGER and it was the best burger we ever . Moist beef and the crab cake with crab imperial was divine. The fries were cooked perfect, nice and crunchy but just as soft on the inside. They were NOT coated! Prices were very reasonable. When you get food like this, you don't mind what it costs as long as it is great. Again, ask for Holly to be your waitress. The best server we have had in a long time. Professional but down to earth and she was on top of everything. We went to celebrate our birthday's. Holly even sang when she brought our cake out! What a FANTASTIK time we had. “We were fortunate to have Shannon, who is a manager, wait on us. I'm confident that under her leadership and that of the other managers, all the wait staff is as excellent! The food is fantastic. I had a soft shell crab special and my dinner guest had the famous crab cakes that were wonderful. Yes, I got a hunk of bread in the piece of crab cake he shared, but it was delicious anyway and I could see that the cake was predominantly lump meat. For dessert, we had the locally made ice cream that is phenomenal. The flavor "Beautiful Struggle" (I think?) is a tangy, delicious berry-flavor that is like sherbet on steroids. It struggles to be ice cream vs sorbet and it's amazing. So is the chocolate.We had the whole main entrance room to ourselves on a Saturday evening which was great as we had a service animal escort, which was welcomed and accommodated beautifully. So appreciated! Highly recommend Pappas... you'll have a tough time running out of options no matter how often you visit. I'm looking forward to a Steak Chesapeake. Don't forget that across the intersection is their takeout place! And, if the generous parking happens to somehow be full, it's OK to overflow there. The main entrance is in the back of the building as are the handicapped parking spaces.Parking: Large parking lot to rear main entrance. That's where handicapped spots are. Overflow into the Pappas takeout restaurant lot across the intersection (same side of the street). Absolutely ample!“

“Always a pleasant experience here! Yummy food, prompt and attentive service, and so many different ambiances throughout the restaurant to choose to sit in! I often forget of this place, cause it's off the beaten path, but am always delighted when I remember and go! Highly recommended!!!! Only downside is never enough parking. I don't want to be forced to do valet because there are no other spots. I had to tip for the kid to walk like 10 feet to get my car! Haha“

“May family and I have been getting pizza there since 1969, original owner. The scale drawing of pizza ingredients on wall is original. They are still great with current owner. The taste, size and crust, still the best. I live in Westminster, MD., I'll be near there tomorrow, will be getting a couple. Can't wait.“

“We came in with a large party and they accommodated us right away. The place is clean and lively. We started off with margaritas. They were great. Then I shared salsa, queso, street tacos with chicken, fajitas.. everything was delicious. Tacos were a bit bland but I added salsa verde to enhance the taste. We also got table side guacamole. I highly recommend that. They make you fresh guac at your table. Service was amazing, and super prompt considering we were a large party. Our servers never rushed us, and were very patiently taking our orders. So special shout-out for them. I recommend this place if you're in the mood of some good and tasty Mexican food .“

“This is an authentic Indian restaurant serving true Indian food- a rare thing to find in Baltimore. It’s a no frill eatery. Purely vegetarian with many vegan options. “This is a very good, local family, Italian restaurant that has other locations, possibly 4-5, plus other informal dining options called Lib's Grill. Four of us started out with the calamari and brussel sprouts. Actually, we started with co*cktails. I was disappointed they were out of Hendricks ginfora martini. [How does that happen?(Rhetoric question)]. I settled for Bombay Sapphire. My wife had eggplant Parmesan and I had spicy, shrimp fra diovolo(sp.?) All the entrées were delicious and prepared perfectly. We finished with a dessert and coffee.“

“Visited for the first time during prime dinner hours on a Fri. The restaurant was busy but not packed; no wait to be seated. Friendly waitstaff, order taken almost immediately. App came quickly however, wait for entrées was @45min with no updates.Let me say, the food was definitely worth the wait. Excellent! Spice was off (we ordered a 4 out of 5 but our 2 out of 3 was spicier) however it was workable. Will definitely return with the understanding that there may be a wait for food. “I had a random craving for sushi and my normal go to carry out place had stopped taking orders for the night, so I decided to order from Arigato. I'm so glad I did! The pearl river roll here is my favorite to date I've had from any sushi restaurant. The side order of fried rice was so huge I ate leftovers for two days. The spicy mayo actually has quite a kick to it and is so much better than the run of the mill sauce served at other places. Absolutely delicious!“

“The best pasta I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a bunch of places in New York.. I got the pasta Al forno which was absolutely delicious and a huge portion size, I think I could probably split it into three meals so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. The other reviews were completely on the money about it being so good that you just have to say “this is so good” after every bite. I got the Caesar salad as my salad of choice - it was pretty good but a bit too salty for my taste. Restaurant had a great vibe inside as well - we went an hour before close on a Saturday and there were still a couple groups eating and chatting. Our server was very accommodating and the food came out fairly quickly as well. Would absolutely recommend coming here, I know I’ll definitely be back!“

“We ate here about a week ago on a Friday night. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The waitress was attentive in the beginning, and then, just sort of left us hanging.Rather than asking if we needed anything after we got our entrees (or if we wanted Parmesan cheese on our pasta), she just whizzed by & made a statement to the effect of 'Everything's great, right?' We ordered dessert and waited an extremely long time for it to come with no explanation. She did not seem at all trained on how to provide good customer service. The food was delicious. And, I would love to give them five stars. Unfortunately, I can't do that given that the service was so bad.“

“This place has always been a local favorite of mine, I grew up coming here with my family often as a kid. I hadn’t been in a while and my friends and I remembered the delicious bread and oil they serve. We decided to come for lunch one day last week and this place is even better than I remember! The bread was warm and pairs deliciously with the oil. Everything we had tasted great. Portions were large so we had leftovers. Prices were great. Our server was quick and kind. We definitely want to start coming more often again!“

“I attend this location frequently but this is my first time trying it for restaurant week.Here are my thoughts:- The customer service from bartender Jason was phenomenal. He was our waiter while we sat at the booth in the bar area. He was fast, kind, extremely efficient, prepared, and attentive. I have no complaints. 5/5 for customer service.- My son’s ribs were filling and large but a bit pricey. The broccoli was a little mushy but definitely seasoned. The fries had a good crunch but was only warm (not hot). Overall his meal was about 3.8/5- I ordered the fried pickles, stuff shrimp with broccoli, and bread pudding. I used to love their fried pickles but now I don’t. They changed the recipe and now serve them like a thin basket of fries. Previously, they were thick (like a spear) and served in a tall basket that stood up. The new formula and presentation used extremely thin, nearly shredded pickles. Again, the broccoli was mushy but seasoned. The stuffed shrimp was delicious but the portion was so small. It didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth for the restaurant deal. The bread pudding was really tasty but I wish I had ice cream to add to it. Anyway, I would rate that full meal as a 3.3/5 for portion and mushy veggies.- My spouse’s meal was the boom boom shrimp, pork chops with mash potatoes & coleslaw, and black bottom cheesecake. The boom boom shrimp was very good but we did ask for ranch dipping sauce on the side. The pork chops were amazingly juicy. They came with an apple sauce for dipping but I didn’t like the flavor combination. The coleslaw was decent. The black bottom cake was just ok. I’m glad it came with my meal because otherwise, I wouldn’t have ordered that dessert. Overall, this meal was a 4.2/5 strictly for the mash and porkchop.- Wings were a to go order for someone else. They said the wings were good but wish they had a little more ranch dipping sauce. 4/5“
